Lukers
Motion system & Applications for Retail
A glow up for the best brands.
We partnered with Lukers, a fashion retailer focused on offering "Great brands at great prices", across a series of projects that revealed an opportunity to create a singular motion system. To get there, we needed to build a modular system with a cohesive asset bank for any and all future campaigns.
The result was a dynamic motion system that enabled Lukers' team to ensure the identity is consistent and output at the highest of standards. And, with this robust system we created a short and sweet launch video for the brand.

The glow is the way
We explored several identity treatments to reflect its premium brand and expansive catalog. We immersed ourselfs in Lukers’ ecosystem, taking in everything across the brand platform, from core assets to previous campaigns.
Along the way, we looked into various ways of evolving the brand, workshopping how to visualize each aspect through early-stage moodboards, design treatments, and motion tests. We refined our ideas holistically, stress-testing every element and expression against the others to make sure they worked in harmony and made sense to move forward.
Tons of glow
Inspired by the glow, a sweeping flashing motion is at the core of the motion identity, lending heightened meaning to messaging, imagery, and beyond. This serves as a common thread for all the brand's communication pieces.
Our final asset bank included logos, lower thirds, and campaign messaging with plenty of range to power future applications.
A glow up
We focused on expanding upon the new visual language with a motion system designed to delight and show great brand at great prices in equal parts.
In tandem with a robust motion system we crafted a 30 second motion graphics video for their showcase at their launch, focusing ontheir vibrant colors to add a tangible dimension to a realm often viewed as ethereal.
We designed the frames and animated the scenes looking for the right balance between clear and playful graphics, using color, type, video and photography, superimposing texts over images and vice versa, using the tension between white space and text areas.
We wanted to push the boundaries to represent what Lukers is all about.
